Terms and Conditions 

  • The competition commences on Wednesday 22nd April 2020 and closes at midnight on Friday 1st May 2020. All entries must be received before the closing date.

  • Entries must be drawn or painted by the entrant.

  • Entries must base their painting or drawing upon a positive experience they have had during the lockdown.

  • Only one entry per child.

  • Entrants must be 15 years old or younger.

  • There are 3 age categories: 7 and under, 8 to 11 and 12 to 15.

  • The winner of each age category will receive £75 in the form of an online bank transfer.

  • To enter the competition, participants must do either of the following:

1) Email their entry to info@tomandjack.co.uk with the drawing or painting as an attached picture. The entrant’s first name and age must be included.

2) Post a photo of their entry on an adult’s public Instagram account with the hashtag #PictureThePositives in the post caption. This must be done with that adult’s permission. The entrant’s first name and age must be included.

  • Entrants should avoid including personal details about themselves such as their full names, addresses and any other sensitive information.

  • JPTR LTD cannot be held responsible for technological errors that lead to a late submission.

  • JPTR will not consider any entrants after the detailed time and date under ANY circumstance.

  • Entries must be made on behalf of the child via an adult (over the age of 18).

  • Entrants must have parental approval before entering into this competition.

  • By emailing or sending their child’s entry to JPTR Ltd, the adult submitting the entrant’s picture approves the entry and agrees to these terms and conditions on behalf of the entrant.

  • The winner will be selected based upon how well the judges believe the entry illustrates a positive lockdown experience. 

  • For the sake of this competition, the ‘Judges’ will be a team appointed by the management of JPTR Ltd.

  • Judges will make 100% neutral and unbiased decisions about each entry.

  • If the prize winner is not contactable within 5 days of the competition ending and the winner being announced, JPTR Ltd reserves the right to withdraw the prize from that person and award the prize to an alternative winner.

  • By entering into this competition, you are hereby agreeing that your submission could be posted on public social media.

  • Entries can only be accepted in the designated forms as described above; postal entries or entries through social media sites other than Instagram will not be accepted.

  • JPTR Ltd accepts no responsibility for entries that are incomplete, not received or delayed for any reason beyond our control. Proof of email, DM or other message being sent is not proof of receipt of entry.

  • The age category the child is entered into is based upon their age at the time their entry is submitted.

  • By entering this competition, you agree that your name may be used by JPTR Ltd for the purpose of sharing who the winner is.

  • At all times this information will be used in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

  • JPTR Ltd reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any stage if deemed necessary in JPTR’s opinion, or if circumstances arise outside of JPTR’s control.
